Contractor Spotlight - Daktronics.
Daktronics has been selected for the Contractor Spotlight for the month of February. As our video display contractor, they have done an outstanding job in providing the Kansas City Royals with the largest video screen installed anywhere in North America. This massive screen is a total of 55 sections lifted onto the steel structure with about 8, 342 square feet of active LED area. The total number of LED pixels is 3, 027,840 and each pixel has 1 red, 1 blue and 1 green LED. Overall dimensions of the scoreboard are approximately 106 feet high and 85 feet wide. With much planning and experienced installers, Daktronics has done an excellent job making this large task seem easy. Now here is some information about their company.
